Milk&Honey Art

 The summer can sometimes be less than illuminating in the chelsea gallery scene. But Jersey has always supported the arts in a big way, and also has some great shows right now. A Fantastic Exhibition: Text/Words, featuring works by Logan René Broussard can be viewed July 16th-Aug 27th @ the Newton Art Gallery. Broussard investigates jewish mysticism and folklore through mixed media and printmaking, a topic that is so interesting and rarely seen explored through fine art, and the pieces are also aesthetically very beautiful. His ability to translate stories through hand drawn and painted works are truly impressive.
